Mahak Rathee
Professional Profile
Mahak Rathee is an Advocate-on-Record (AoR) at the Supreme Court of India, practicing across the Supreme Court, the High Court of Delhi, and courts throughout the Delhi NCR region. As the founder of the Chambers of Mahak Rathee, she leads a specialized practice centered on Supreme Court litigation, complex commercial arbitration, civil disputes, and strategic corporate advisory. She holds a BBA LL.B. from Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, an LL.M. from Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT), Noida, a Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Laws from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur.
Alternative Dispute Resolution
An internationally accredited practitioner in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Mahak is a certified commercial mediator with Phoenix Dispute Solutions (UK). She maintains a strong focus on domestic and cross-border dispute resolution, acting as counsel, mediator, and tribunal secretary across institutional and ad-hoc arbitrations. Her global affiliations include serving as a Global Representative for the Roya Institute for Global Justice (New York) and as a committee member for the AIAC APAC Pre-Moot under the Asian International Arbitration Centre. She is also the founder of ADR HOC and Consumer Assisto—initiatives designed to advance international arbitration standards, mediation practice, and dispute resolution awareness.
Community Service & Recognition
Beyond her core litigation and ADR practice, Mahak has dedicated significant efforts to legal literacy, access to justice, and human rights campaigns. Her contributions to community welfare and legal aid have been recognized internationally with the Global Alliance for Justice Education (GAJE) scholarships in Mexico and Indonesia. In addition, she has served as the Honorary Director at Knowledge Steez and was honored by Tamana NGO among the top women in India for her work toward women empowerment and legal awareness.
Academic & Professional Contributions
Mahak actively engages with legal academia and professional development across the Asia-Pacific region. She regularly delivers guest lectures and keynote sessions on commercial mediation, cyber security, and arbitration frameworks. Furthermore, she serves as an arbitrator, judge, and neutral assessor for prominent national and international moot court, arbitration, and mediation competitions, contributing to the training of future legal practitioners.
